Dr. Shabayek graduated in 2000. He holds a master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry and a PhD in Operative Dentistry. He joined academia twenty years ago. Since then, he has taught Operative Dentistry and Cariology in several dental schools nationally and internationally. His research interests include caries risk assessment, caries detection, and longevity of restorations. As an author and reviewer, he actively contributes to dental education meetings and journals. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cariology.
