Ariadne M. Letra, DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Letra received her DDS from Fluminense Federal University, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1995, and a certificate and a MS degree in Endodontics from State University of Rio de Janeiro in 2003. She later obtained a PhD in Oral Biology from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, in 2007, followed by a postdoctoral training in Human Molecular Genetics at the University of Pittsburgh, where she also served as Assistant Professor. Dr. Letra is currently Associate Professor in the Departments of Endodontics, and Diagnostic and Biomedical Sciences, at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston. Dr. Letra’s research program focuses on Genetics of Complex Oral Traits, and she has published numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of Endodontics and Human Genetics.
