Tam T. Van, DDS

Dr. Tam Van is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from UTHSCSA, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Center in Temple, Texas. Later, she received Geriatric Dentistry Fellowship training directed by the UTHSC, Department of Medicine and the Audie L. Murphy Veterans' Administration Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. She has been an U.S. Air Force dental officer, a private practice associate, and Director of a community dental health clinic before joining UTHSCSA. Dr. Van is currently Director of the Geriatrics Dental Clinic and teaches Geriatric Dentistry as part of the pre-doctoral education.
