Clarence L. Trummel, DDS, Ph.D
Dr. Clarence Trummel received a DDS degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Rochester (NY) School of Medicine and Dentistry. He also completed a residency in periodontology at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester. He has served on the faculties of the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where he taught periodontology and pharmacology. His research ranged from physiologic and pathologic mechanisms of bone resorption to clinical trials of dental plaque inhibitors. He is now retired but continues voluntary teaching in the School of Dental Medicine at UCONN.
